Assist installing, maintaining, and repairing low voltage systems and installing and terminating communications circuits, Local Area Networks and low voltage control cables.
Basic knowledge of test equipment to include multi-meters, decibel meters and communication devices.
Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 40 pounds.
Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing a ladder, scaffolding, working within ducts, crawl spaces above ceilings, etc.
Basic understanding of how to interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, schematics and operation/product manuals.
Overtime may be required during busy project schedules.
Must be able to follow instructions well and display a willingness to learn.
High School diploma or GED (Tech school preferred)
Proficient on Windows-based systems
Basic understanding of DC voltage and Ohms Law.
Current Guam driver’s License
Preference will be given for Experience:
1. Copper & fiber optic terminations and installations, CAT.5, CAT5e & CAT.6 Certification and/or experience.
2. PLC and/or building control systems or fire/security systems
3. Broadcast engineering including studios and transmitters
