Are you passionate about sports and love working with kids? Spend your summer coaching basketball, soccer, baseball, or lacrosse at Camp Winnebago, a traditional boys’ summer camp located on the beautiful shores of Echo Lake in Maine.
We’re looking for enthusiastic, team-oriented coaches to lead structured, fun, and skill-building sessions in one of these sports. Whether you’re a current athlete, a student studying physical education, or an aspiring coach, this is your chance to gain valuable experience, build leadership skills, and have an unforgettable summer.
What You’ll Do:
🏆 Coach Daily Sports Sessions – Teach fundamentals, run drills, and coach small-group scrimmages in your sport.
⚽ Inspire and Motivate Campers – Help kids of all levels improve their skills while encouraging teamwork, sportsmanship, and fun.
🎯 Plan Games and Friendly Competitions – Organize tournaments, contests, and high-energy matches to keep your sport exciting and engaging.
🌲 Be Part of the Camp Community – Participate in camp traditions, evening programs, and life at Winnebago while building friendships and leadership experience.
What We’re Looking For:
✔️ Experience playing or coaching one of the following: basketball, soccer, baseball, or lacrosse
✔️ Passion for working with youth in a teaching and mentoring role
✔️ Strong communication and leadership skills
✔️ Team-first attitude and willingness to engage in all aspects of camp life
✔️ Previous camp or youth experience is a bonus, but not required
