The Career Voyage Fair is a student-focused event to help Tritons connect with employers for internships and other career opportunities.

Registration Details

This event is open to all students and for all academic disciplines. Recent graduates and alumni are welcome to join! Employer partners will be present to talk to you about internships and other potential career opportunities.

Registration is free.

Current Students: Starting on January 13th, students can pre-register for this event on Handshake. Pre-registration is preferred but not required. Walk-ins are welcome!

Recent Graduates: Starting on January 13th, recent graduates are welcome to join and can pre-register on Handshake (non-UOG emails are subject to approval). Pre-registration is not preferred but not required. Walk-ins are welcome!

Sign-In Details

When arriving the UOG Calvo Field House, please be aware of the following sign-in procedures:

Pre-Registered: If you pre-registered through Handshake, please go to the PRE-REGISTERED line to scan the QR code and sign in. Once you’ve done that, you’re free to explore!

Walk-Ins: For walk-ins, please go to GENERAL REGISTRATION line to sign in. Once you’re done, you’re free to explore!

Important Details for Preparation

  1. Internships for Course Credit: Are you taking an internship course this semester and searching for an internship to fulfill your hours? Don’t forget to go talk to your professor regarding course requirements. Check who’s going and see if connecting to a company meets those requirements.
  2. Internships for Career Exploration: If you are a non-senior seeking internships for your own personal experience and career exploration, check in with the Triton Advising Center! We can help you with the internship search, provide feedback on your resume, and other support when it comes to career readiness.
  3. Employer Registration is on-going so check back on this page for updates.
  4. What to Wear: This is a recruitment event so we encourage students to dress business-casual.

For career support, the Triton Advising Center is open Monday – Friday, 8 am to 5 pm at the English and Communications Building, Rm 202. Walk-ins are welcome or students students can complete this Inquiry Form to get scheduled for an appointment.

This event is a Triton-focused recruitment event for all academic disciplines. Primary audience will include students (Freshmen to Seniors), recent graduates, and potentially recent alumni. This is an opportunity to:

  • Connect with UOG Students
  • Expose them to your company
  • Talk about your internship opportunities
  • Build your candidate pool

Registration for this event is FREE. Employers will receive the following:

  • One 6′ x 3′ table (per division/department)
  • Two chairs
  • Promotion leading up to and the day of the event

What to Bring

Here are some items to bring out Career Voyage.

  • Printouts: brochures, flyers, job descriptions, job applications)
  • Merch / Brand giveaways: pens, water bottles, stickers, stress balls, etc.
  • Signage: table covers, banners
  • Digital Information: website, career description

Check In Procedures

  • Doors open at 9 for company representatives to come in and set up
  • Check in at the front desk near the entrance of the arena to receive your table information and other materials

Check Out Procedures

  • Break down can start as early as 1:45 PM
  • Check your area for belongings, pick up company materials
  • Please fold your chairs and place it on the table
  • Don’t forget to complete the exit survey!

Parking Details

Employers can park in lot directly across the UOG Calvo Field House.
