Natural Resources Committee Internship Program

The Democrat House Committee on Natural Resources has announced their search for internship applicants for the upcoming Fall 2024 semester. Students accepted into the program will get the opportunity to travel to Washington D.C. where, from September to December, they will learn the inner workings of the legislative process on a national level — from conducting research, prepare for hearings, assist in admin duties, participate in outreach, to aiding in communications.

This is an excellent opportunity for students who:

  • Have a passion and concern for issues ranging from the protection and preservation of natural resources, reduction of pollution and harmful environmental effects, to fostering political, economic, and social development for Indian Land and US Territories
  • Want to get the opportunity to travel and work with other individuals from various cultural backgrounds and orientations
  • Want to gain insight into the legislative process
