Featured in the Field: Parole Agent

Branden is a Parole Agent with the Indiana Department of Corrections. After spending time in the police force, Branden decided to switch to Parole in order to have a longer-lasting impact on the community. After meeting with recently released felons, Branden will create a treatment plan to assimilate his parolees back into society. Since most caseloads are tracked via GPS, Branden tells us it’s not uncommon for him to randomly check up on his parolees at work, out shopping, or even at church. Branden recommends his job to anyone who has a similar dual passion in both criminal justice and social work.
